Here at TRBC Kids, we partner with parents by providing a spiritually nurturing environment where children have the opportunity to love, learn and grow in Christ! Knowing that parents are the primary disciple makers of their children, we seek to support and enrich those opportunities by providing meaningful Sunday and Wednesday kids activities.
AWANA & MISSIONS
PRESCHOOL AWANA for 3-5 year olds 6:00-7:45
We are so excited to welcome your child to our Awana and missions programs this year as together we encourage spiritual growth in the life of your child through scripture memorization, meaningful mentoring and missions projects with loads of fun!
AWANA is an exciting and fun way to learn God’s word which meets from 6-7pm! Utilizing small group time and games, our AWANA club teaches scripture memorization of key theological ideas of our faith. Children learn to grow spiritually, mentally, and socially while earning various awards and rewards as they memorize scripture and have fun.
MISSIONS groups meet from 7-7:45. RAs, GAs, and Mission Friends are for Kindergarten - 5th grade students. Christian men and women mentor these children by teaching about missions from around the world and serving others right here at our church and within our local community. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to think of others as more important than themselves.
We hope your child can join us in all our Wednesday night events!
(Awana Club meets from 6-7pm on Wednesday nights for our K-5th graders, with Missions happening from 7-7:45; Our Preschool Awana kids meet from 6-7:45pm)
Cubbies nurtures the budding faith of preschoolers and celebrates their desire to explore all that God has created. The Cubbies curriculum displays the greatness of God’s character to preschoolers who are so curious about the world around them. Students will receive T-shirts and can earn patches for their work in Cubbies. Cubbies will occur from 6:00-7:30 with pick up from 7:30 to 7:45.
Sparks ignites a child’s curiosity to learn about people and events in the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ by memorizing scripture, understanding what it says and what it means for us today. Sparks can earn awards and AWANA bucks as they memorize scripture each week.
T&T takes students on a journey by answering their questions about God and the Bible while guiding them to understand Christ’s great love as shown through his grace. T&T students can earn awards and AWANA bucks as they memorize scripture each week.
*Puggles is open for volunteers' children or those who are attending discipleship classes here at TRBC on Wednesdays.
What cost is there for participation in Wednesday Kids?
There is a fee to offset costs associated with AWANA. There is no fee to participate in Missions, but mission projects and offerings will be collected at various times throughout the year.
Puggles $15
Cubbies $25
Sparks $25
T&T $25
In an effort to make AWANA affordable and accessible, we have switched to using the AWANA essentials handbooks for Sparks and T&T. This allows for an increased opportunity for discipleship in small group time as leaders and children have additional time to focus on the meaning of the verses and their life application. We have also switched to our own t-shirt uniforms for both T&T and Sparks. This effort seeks to provide a meaningful experience for families with the Awana curriculum while also defraying the financial cost of the program.

Royal Ambassadors are men leading boys, grades 1st through 5th to find and follow Jesus. RA boys will receive a vest after the first few visits, and then wear their vest each week.
Girls in Action are 1st through 5th grade girls mentored by women who learn about praying, giving and doing missions within and beyond the church. Girls will receive a sash after the first few weeks and then wear their sash to GA each week.
Both RA boys and GA girls earn patches throughout the year by completing service projects and other activities.
Our sweet kindergarten friends begin learning about the people and places where missions take place. We love and serve others because Jesus loves us!
