Active Man-hood

"For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another." - Galatians 5:13

The objective of Man-hood Active is to mobilize men into action, serving the community for Christ's glory. We do this primarily through monthly service projects but also through bigger service/missions events on occasion.

Monthly Service Projects

The Men's Ministry meets every 2nd Saturday of the month for breakfast at Chick-Fil-A (Capital Circle NE) at 7:00am. After a brief devotional, we break up to do planned service projects nearby. The duration will be determined by the activity or service project, but most take less than 2-3 hours. The calendar below includes our upcoming service opportunities.

  • 2nd Saturday of the month (double check the calendar below)
  • Meet at Chick-Fil-A on Capital Circle NE at 7:00 am.
  • After breakfast, be ready to work outside for a few hours. Bring gloves!

We are always looking for more ways to serve. If you have heard of a need, reach out to Dan Bernath (bernath.dan@gmail.com) and Dan Evans (de@jcwebsolutions.com). They are overseeing Active Man-hood and can add you to their email list.

Man-hood Gatherings

"And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved." - Acts 2:46-47

As often as we can, we try to get guys together for fellowship, inviting our friends, neighbors, and coworkers to our events. Man-hood Gatherings are fun, easy ways to get to know other men at the church and get more involved in our community.
