Ways to Give to Missions at TRBC

1. You can give your tithes and offerings to our annual budget.  Over $350,000 of that goes directly to missions (see below for specifics)

2. You can give year round to missions or during special emphases, Missions Impact Offering. This offering is broken down by percentage to Widow Benevolence, Unreached People Group support, Florida Baptist Childrens Home and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions. (See below for specifics)

3. Although we do not emphasis them, you can also give at any time to the Annnie Armstrong North American Missions Offering and the Maguire State Missions Offering.

4. If you have a desire to give in support of our many members who go on missions each year please contact .

Missions Impact Offering Details

Throughout Scripture, we see God commanding first the Israelites, then the church, to care for and reach out to the widows, orphans, and aliens (foreigners or people outside of our culture). This offering is designed to come alongside what we are already doing in those areas and help us be more intentional and effective in our efforts. Please pray about how God would have you give to this offering this month and throughout the year.

This Missions Impact Offering is a year-long mission offering. Our Goal for this year is $150,000. While we collect this offering all year, we are having a special emphasis throughout the year.

Each percent would be equal to a projected $1500.00

Widow Benevolence – 7% = $10500

Un-reached People Group support – 18% = $27000

Florida Baptist Children’s Home – 25% = $37,500

Lottie Moon IMB Offering – 50% = $75,000

Widow Benevolence - Would become an account administered by the Deacon body of TRBC to assist widows with major needs as requested.  This would differ from the Deacon’s Benevolence offering which assist members and the community with financial and food needs, in that it will strictly be used for widows who are TRBC members.

Un-reached People Group support – We have been asked to assist IMB missionaries in West Africa to evangelize and plant churches among the Karoinke people group which has no known Christian witness or presence.  This is a newer strategy of the IMB that individual churches would become the missionary force to one of the 110 plus un-reached people groups in West Africa.  To do this we would send 4-5 person teams anywhere from multiple times a year to have a consistent presence among the people group for the sole purpose of sharing the Gospel and beginning and strengthening an indigenous church among that people.  These funds would primarily go to assisting in travel cost to allow our members who desire to go and share in this mission do so at an affordable cost.  Other opportunities outside of West Africa will be considered as they present themselves.

Florida Baptist Children’s Home – Just like our normal Mother’s Day offering these funds will go to help with the overall care and administration of children placed within the ministry of the FBCH.

Lottie Moon IMB offering – As in the past all moneys from the Lottie Moon offering go directly to IMB missionary support and special needs.
