Orchestra
Rehearsal: Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m.
The orchestra is the backbone of our instrumental ministry. This group accompanies the worship choir, presents instrumental selections in Sunday services, and participates in seasonal programs. Membership is open to high school students and older, with at least two years' of experience on an orchestral instrument (Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Orchestral Percussion)
Rhythm Section
Rehearsal: Sunday, 4:00 p.m.
This small ensemble accompaines our praise teams in the Wednesday evening service, and plays in morning services and community events. Drummers, Guitarist, and Keyboard players are auditioned to participate in this small group. For more information, please contact
Resound (Handbells)
Rehearsal: Sunday, 5:00 p.m.
Our handbell group performs in Sunday services, seasonal programs, and in events in the community, such as Ring in the Season, a Tallahassee Winter Festival event. Although previous experience with handbells is not necessary, a basic knowledge of music reading is needed for participation in this group. Youth and adults are eligible to play in this group.
