What do you love most about working for TRBC? The people.  We have a great staff and a great congregation that is both diverse and authentic.

Who is the most influential person in your life? That’s hard.  I can’t name a single person—it would have to be my accountability group.  We’ve been together since seminary days.

What inspires you? People who are motivated or creative. A complex problem. An opportunity to try something  new.

Any Hidden Talents? I hosted a Christian counseling call-in radio show in New Orleans.  I make great pralines.  And I can make a mess faster than anyone I know.

What are your hobbies? Reading, gardening, traveling, and creative stuff. I’m just learning about photography.

Life Long Goal: To visit Saigon where I was conceived.

Little Known Facts About Me:
I was a majorette. I loved to surf. I taught water-skiing after college. I’m currently getting a certification in life coaching.

Favorites:

Book (other than the Bible): Too many to mention.  I love intricate plots in fiction and well researched non-fiction. My favorite Christian authors are Henri Nouwen, Brennan Manning, and Hannah Whitall Smith.

Movie: Ocean’s Eleven and the Bourne movies.

Restaurant: Commander’s Palace in New Orleans

Ice Cream:
Butter Pecan

Childhood Memory: Seeing all the manned space missions go up and getting to meet John Glenn in person.
