Due to the large volume of activities that take place at Thomasville Road Baptist Church, we regretfully must decline booking weddings for individuals who are not members of the church.
If you are a Thomasville Road Baptist Church member and considering having your wedding here, we are excited to be a part of your very special celebration. We believe marriage is a holy commitment and a sacred joining of a man and woman in the eyes of God and our community. As you prepare for this service, you should search your hearts for God's will in your lives as a couple.
There are many details that comprise planning a wedding and that is true of scheduling facilities and your wedding at TRBC.
1. Please call the church office at 386-4288 to determine if the wedding date is open on the church calendar.
2. Pay your damage deposit of $250 to secure your wedding date on the church calendar once it has been approved by staff.
3. Pick up a Wedding Packet that outlines all the things you need to think about as you plan, including applicable paperwork for booking your wedding and for preparing for your pre-marital sessions with Dr. Shelley Todd.
4. Undergo pre-marital counseling with Dr. Shelley Todd, our on-site counselor. Pre-Marital counseling will consist of four consecutive, one-hour, weekly meetings where various topics will be discussed, including parenting, communication, faith, finances, etc. These sessions are $75 each. Dr. Todd requires at least TWO months notice prior to your wedding date to book the sessions.
5. Of course, call the office at any time if you have questions.
May God bless you as you prepare for your big day, second only to the day you made your public profession of faith. If you have any uncertainties about your faith, please contact the pastor who is performing your wedding. He will be glad to discuss any questions you may have about commiting your life to Jesus Christ.
