Marty Sloan has served as the Director of College Ministries, at TRBC, since September 2007. Marty has lived in Tallahassee since 1984, when he started Florida State University. After graduating with a degree in Visual Communication and Art Education, he taught school. Marty and his wife Tara, have been married for 10 years and have two energetic boys, Toby and Tyler. They were involved in another local church, where Marty eventually became Director of Student Ministries, before joining Thomasville Road. The Sloan’s enjoy the family atmosphere, the loving body, and the incredible sense of the Holy Spirit moving throughout TRBC.

 

 

A few things to know about Marty; he auditioned for the movie “Paper Moon” with Tatum O’Neil, he does a great Satchmo impersonation, he is good at catching bacteria, his favorite book is “I know an old lady,” you will have to ask his boys, and his favorite verse is 1 Chronicles 26:18 KJV, you will have to look it up.
