Curtis Clark joined Thomasville Road Baptist as senior pastor in 2002. When coming he presented the church with a painting of a lighthouse. This represents his commitment to lead the church to be a lighthouse showing the way for all who are seeking to find hope, help and fulfillment in their lives.  As such, the church has continued and strengthened its ministries and missions work in the community and throughout the world. In recent years the church has also completed construction of new student, children’s and music buildings as needed tools for teaching and proclaiming the Word of God.

While in college, Pastor Curtis began serving as a minister and has served churches for more than 25 years as a youth pastor, music minister and senior pastor. He earned a B. A. in history with a literature minor from Baylor University and a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Previous churches where he served as senior pastor include: Gillionville Baptist in Albany, GA; Long Avenue Baptist in Port St. Joe, FL and Arlington Baptist in Jacksonville, FL.

Pastor Curtis and Martha have been married since 1987 and are blessed to parent Tyree and Martha Elizabeth.  They count among their greatest joys and privileges to be able to serve God alongside the loving church family at Thomasville Road.

Pastor Curtis’ greatest goals include raising his children to know and love God with all their heart, soul and mind and to lead the Thomasville Road family to allow God to make a radical transformation in their lives so they, in turn, can have a radical impact on their families, friends, community and world.
