Prayer Ministries
"It is written," Jesus said
to them, "My House shall be called a house of prayer." Matthew
21:13
We are a church who believes in the power
of prayer -- a people who seek God's will in all we do. Prayer is the
foundation and guide for TRBC members to carry out the work of our Lord.
Prayer is not just a religious activity on Sundays -- we believe it is vital
that we form a personal relationship with God through prayer, both corporate and
individual. We believe as Jesus and the Holy Spirit intercede for us
through prayer, we have a responsibility to others to pray for them.

OPPORTUNITIES TO GROW IN YOUR PRAYER LIFE |
| The Upper Room -- a quiet place where members
may go to not only pray for their personal requests, but also pray for
requests turned in on prayer request cards. Volunteers are also in
the Upper Room during the Sunday morning church services to pray for the
service and for those attending the services. |
| Telephone Prayer Chain -- Volunteers receive
prayer requests by phone during the day, night, or on an emergency basis
and can also turn in their personal prayer requests. |
| E-mail Prayer Chain -- Volunteers who find it
difficult to be a member of the telephone prayer chain can turn in their
personal prayer requests and also receive prayer requests from others
through e-mail. |
| Mother's Prayer Group -- Homeschooling moms
gather on Wednesday evenings between 8-9 to pray
specifically for their children. Visit
Moms in Touch for information
on other prayer groups for specific schools in Leon County. |
|
***All prayer requests are completely confidential
and only those members
on the prayer chains and
in The Upper Room have access to them*** |
