Happenings Especially for Senior Adults!

SENIORS at TRBC make up one of the most important ministering groups in the church, and actively serve with equal enthusiasm, whether among peers or younger age groups.  Get involved with our Senior Adult Ministry (SAM) at TRBC today!

Small Group Bible Study classes at 9:15 a.m. & 10:45 a.m. provide opportunities to become better acquainted with God's Word and each other in a friendly environment. Men's, Women's, and Co-Ed classes are offered at both hours. Some classes are discussion based while others are lecture format. Visit a few to find out which one is right for you!

Food, Fellowship, and Enrichment with your peers are yours when you attend the SAM Luncheon 11:45 am - 1:00 pm on the 4th Tuesday of the month, September - May.

Enjoy your favorite board games as you mix and mingle at SAM Gametime. Favorites include Hand 'n' Foot, Mexican Train, Pinochle, and more! Playing together, like praying together, keeps us staying together. We furnish the refreshing, cool drinks. Watch the worship folder for upcoming dates.

Let’s move and have some fun! Movin' and Groovin' and Sit and Fit are offered in the Children’s Building, 3rd floor Rm 301.  Non-impact cardio exercises, functional strength conditioning and gentle flexibility exercises will give you a safe, effective and well-rounded workout. For more information, rates and current schedule visit or email Dawn Gamache-

We also offer occasional one-day group outings to various events or places of interest and entertainment. Look for information in your small group Bible study or the worship folder on Sunday mornings.

SAM Ministry Opportunities

The Flower Ministry meets on Monday mornings at 9:30 a.m. to visit area assisted living facilities. They present flowers and share a moment to brighten the week for members who are unable to attend TRBC worship services.

The Stitch 'n' Serve Ministry meets on Fridays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. on campus to sew and socialize. Collectively and individually, they complete beautiful creations for distribution to individuals whose lives can be brightened with a beautiful, handmade gift.

The Young at Heart Choir rehearses on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. and performs regularly at area assisted living facilities. They also occasionally present their material during worship on Sundays and Wednesdays.

If you're a man (or woman) who likes to flex the muscles, we have just the ticket: spend Thursday mornings serving in the Grounds Ministry! Whether you're a highly skilled, experienced lawn care specialist, or a retired desk jockey, there's a place on the team for your skill level as we take care of our TRBC campus.

“The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.  Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.  They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing. “  -Psalm 92:12-14 NKJV
