The goal of Active Women is to mobilize women into action, carrying out local missions activities for Christ's glory. We will do this primarily through monthly local missions projects but also through bigger service/missions events on occasion.
The Active Women's Leadership Team is in the process of finalizing specific plans for the coming year, but the tentative plan is to meet one Saturday a month for breakfast, and after a brief devotional, we will break up and do planned local missions projects in the community. This may include things such as serving a meal at a homeless shelter; visiting the sick and elderly in homes, hospitals and nursing homes; and serving at various community service agencies around town, all while pointing people to Jesus. The Active Women's Team will also plan a few other church-wide missions related projects throughout the year.
If you are looking for a way to bless the community and serve in Jesus' name, or if you know of a specific way this ministry may be able to serve, contact Tabitha Foster at firstname.lastname@example.org or 850-566-1683

Mom’s Morning Out is a community co-op program designed to give moms a morning a week without kiddos. The children participate in an age appropriate Bible story, outside play, relevant craft time and a peanut free lunch. (Please send a snack that your child can eat by themselves and we will sit them down to eat.) Each participating mother is put into the rotation and is a caregiver once a month. The more moms who participate the less you have to work and the more time you have off! Mom’s Morning Out is coordinated with RefresHer Bible Studies at TRBC so mothers can participate in their weeks off if they'd like. We also staff paid child care helpers to ensure the safety and well being of the children, & all caregivers (whether paid workers or rotating mothers) are submitted to a criminal background check. This program is open to the community, not just church members, and we would love to have you and your children!

When God Doesn't Fix it
By Laura Story
Thursdays, September 7 - October 5, 10:00 - 11:45, TRBC Fellowship Hall
In this study, Laura Story shares the unexpected twists and turns of her life and how her struggles to accept her new reality brought her deeper joy and intimcy with God as she allowed Him to rewrite her story. She examines the lives of our Biblical heroes and reveals how God used crises in the lives of people such as Abraham, Sarah, David, and Paul to bring them closer to Him and set them on the path He wanted them to take. Then, God used each of them in spite of thier flaws and brokenness.
God may not fix everything in our lives. In fact, our situation might not ever change or get better. But we can know that God will lead us to a place where we are better because of it.
Member book is $12. Child care is available for $25/family by pre-registration.
Please call the church at 386-4288 to register and help us secure the correct number of workbooks & child care workers.
We look forward to seeing you!
