Purpose

To offer a week of educational music activities and fun within a Christian environment for children who have completed grades 1-5, and to provide the opportunity for participation in a God-centered musical production.

Registration

Registration is now open! Pre-register for early-bird rate of $40.00 per child through Wednesday, July 12th. 
After Wednesday, July 12th, campers must register by paper registration form (available at the Thomasville Road Academy of the Arts office or TRBC church office) for a fee of $50.00 per child (please submit payment along with your registration form). 
Walk-in registrations will also be accepted beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday morning of Music Camp (July 17th), also for a fee of $50.00 per child.

Music Camp Schedule

July 17-21
8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. each day
Extended hours on Thursday until 3:00 p.m.
Daily rotation includes time for choir, instrument classes, music theory, Bible study, recreation, refreshments, and a specialty class of the camper’s choice.

Music Camp Fun Afternoon

Thursday, July 20, 12:00-3:00 p.m.
Lunch and drinks provided.
Concert rehearsal after lunch.
Outdoor activities and treats following rehearsal.

Specialty Class Choices

Sign-up Monday morning between 8:00 and 8:30.
Choices such as recorder, sign language, movement, and set/props available.
4th & 5th grade (completed) campers have additional options of puppets or guitar.

Auditions for solos/drama roles

Sunday afternoon before Music Camp (July 16); 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Open to 2nd-5th grade (completed) campers
Indicate interest on registration form; information/instructions will be sent out on July 1.
Campers selected for solo/drama parts will be assigned to solo/drama for specialty class.
Campers may audition for both solos and drama parts if desired. In the event your camper is interested in both, please schedule a separate audition time for each area.

Music Camp Concert

Friday, July 21, at 6:30 p.m.
ALL campers are asked to participate.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Features presentation of "Joy Ride" 

Music Camp T-shirts

Be sure to list your child’s shirt size on the registration form.
Shirts are distributed at 6:00 on Friday evening and are worn for the concert.
