We are in the beginning processes of searching for our new pastor. We will use this page to communicate updates, as they come, to our church family, as we navigate through the pastor search process. Please visit the page often, information could change daily. Please pray for your Pastor Search Committee and your future pastor and his family as God walks with us in this important season of our church's life.I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. -Psalm 32:8

How will our next pastor be selected?
According to our church by-laws, the chairperson of the Senior Pastor Search Committee shall be a Deacon selected for nomination by the Church Nominating Committee. The Deacons shall select four (4) members at large and two (2) alternates representative of the Church Membership. Any Member has the privilege of making other nominations for the Senior Pastor Search Committee according to the policy established by the Church. The Senior Pastor Search Committee shall bring to the consideration of the Church only one candidate at a time. The election shall take place at a meeting called for that purpose, of which at least one week’s public notice has been given. Election of the Senior Pastor by the Church shall be by secret ballot, an affirmative vote of three-fourths of those present and voting being necessary for a choice.
How long will the process take?
We do not have an exact time frame, but people who are familiar with the process have told us it usually takes about a year from the time the Pastor Search Committee begins meeting together. The Committee wants to prayerfully and carefully review each candidate.
How will the Pastor Search Committee keep the congregation updated on their progress?
The Pastor Search Committee will use multiple avenues to keep TRBC updated on our progress. We will use this webpage, announcements in the Sunday Worship Guide, video announcements and churchwide emails to communicate with you.
