Get to know Chris Johnson

Chris was born and raised on a farm in southeast Georgia where he learned the importance of hard work and respect. He attended Andrew College on a baseball scholarship where he met his wife, Betty. Both went on to graduate from Valdosta State University. Chris and Betty have been married since 1995 and have been blessed to raise four children at TRBC. Chris served as a deacon until becoming an elder in 2023 and teaches a small group Bible study of families with young children. He is passionate for TRBC to be a shining light for Christ throughout the world.

He loves spending time with family at his favorite vacation spot of St. George Island. He enjoys woodworking and lifting weights
