We believe the Bible teaches in believer’s baptism by immersion upon their profession of faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ, as instituted by Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20). We believe baptism is not salvation, but rather an act of obedience in their public profession of faith God (1 Peter 3:20-22) as the believer identifies with Jesus’ life, death, burial, and resurrection.
We believe that infants of believing parents may be dedicated to the Lord, but should not be baptized until they have personally articulated their faith in Jesus.
