Welcome to the Academy of Arts

Since 1993, Thomasville Road Academy of the Arts has been providing the opportunity for members of the community to discover God-given talents and develop specific abilities. Our program is designed to offer private music lessons (ages 6 and up) and visual arts classes (ages 9 and up) within a Christian setting.

Regular attendance of weekly lessons is necessary in order to achieve adequate progress. Due to consecutive scheduling, we cannot extend lessons to make up for late arrival; please be prompt. If you are unable to attend a lesson, we request that you notify our office or your teacher in advance. Missing lessons will not reduce your tuition or entitle you to a refund. If local schools close for severe weather or any emergency event, remain safe at home; T.R.A.A. will be closed. Make-up lessons will be offered for holidays, illness, or emergency situations.

By completing your registration form and submitting your registration fee, you are making a commitment through the semester’s end. We realize that sometimes schedules can change and other activities can interfere with lessons, but we are willing to work with you in order to keep your lessons going. In the event a situation arises and you must discontinue lessons prior to the end of the semester, please submit written withdrawal notice to the Academy office in advance. You will be responsible for payment of a $45.00 termination fee, as well as any prior unpaid tuition. There is no tuition refund or discount on the termination fee for lessons missed or make-ups not completed prior to your withdrawal.
