Helping People Find and Follow Jesus

Our mission is rooted in Scripture and lived out through worship, discipleship, and service. We desire to guide, encourage, and come alongside our community, our nation, and our world by showing the love and truth of Jesus Christ and teaching others to follow Him in every area of life.

“…to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ…”

Our Purpose

The church exists as God’s instrument to proclaim the gospel, bring hope to the world, and build up His people. Our purpose comes from two foundational passages:

The Great Commandment

Matthew 22:36–40
To love God and love others wholeheartedly.

The Great Commission

Matthew 28:19–20
To go into the world making disciples, baptizing them, and teaching them to follow Christ.

From these Scriptures, we live out five core purposes:

And through it all, we trust Jesus’ promise:
“I am with you always.”

Worship

Loving God with all our heart, soul, and mind—giving Him glory in all we do.

Serve

Using our gifts to meet needs in our church and community.

Evangelize

Sharing the good news of Jesus with our neighbors and the nations.

Fellowship

Building relationships and doing life together with other believers.

Disciple

Growing in biblical truth and teaching others to follow Jesus.

Our Strategy

How We Live Out Our Purpose:

The early church modeled a way of life centered on teaching, fellowship, prayer, and generosity (Acts 2:42–47). Inspired by that example, TRBC creates pathways to help people grow in every stage of their faith journey.

We pursue our mission by:

  • WORSHIP — Growing hearts of gratitude and devotion to God.
  • SERVE — Meeting needs inside and outside the church.
  • EVANGELIZE — Praying and preparing for opportunities to share the hope of Jesus.
  • FELLOWSHIP — Connecting through small groups where relationships thrive.
  • DISCIPLE — Learning God’s Word and putting it into practice daily.

This is a lifelong journey—not a finish line. As we walk this path together, our prayer is that people in our city and around the world will find and follow Jesus.
